This Privacy Policy explains how AgriTrack, developed and operated by UGWeb Studio, accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the AgriTrack mobile application or web application.
1. Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, AgriTrack may process:
- Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and authentication details.
- Farm information, including farm name, location, plots, crops, activities, harvests, and uploaded photos.
- Livestock and poultry records, including animal identification, production, breeding, feeding, vaccination, treatment, and veterinary records.
- Business records, including income, expenses, budgets, loans, inventory, suppliers, customers, tasks, workers, attendance, advances, and payroll information.
- Support messages and other information you choose to send to UGWeb Studio.
2. Device permissions and information
- Location: With your permission, AgriTrack uses your location to help set a farm location, obtain local weather information, and provide location-based farming features.
- Camera and photos: With your permission, AgriTrack lets you take or select photos for profiles, crops, livestock, and related records.
- Notifications: With your permission, AgriTrack sends local reminders and alerts for tasks, weather, animal health, inventory, and maintenance.
- Technical information: Internet requests may include standard information such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, and request time.
You may deny or withdraw optional permissions through your device settings. Some related features may then be unavailable.
3. How we use information
We use information only to:
- Provide account access and the farm-management features you request.
- Store, organize, calculate, display, export, and synchronize your farm records.
- Provide weather information, reminders, notifications, and offline functionality.
- Maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support requests.
- Improve AgriTrack's reliability and user experience.
UGWeb Studio does not sell your personal information or farm records.
4. Local storage, online accounts, and synchronization
AgriTrack is designed to work offline. On supported devices, farm records are stored locally using application storage. Authentication tokens are stored using secure storage where the platform supports it. If you sign in and online synchronization is available, supported records may be sent to our hosted database so they can be restored and synchronized across sessions or devices.
5. AI features
AgriTrack may offer an optional offline AI assistant on compatible Android devices. When the offline assistant is used, prompts and responses are processed on the device by the installed model. Downloading an optional AI model requires a connection to the model host, which may receive standard network information such as your IP address. AI guidance may be inaccurate and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified agricultural or veterinary professional.
6. Service providers and data sharing
We share information only as needed to operate features you choose, comply with law, or protect users and the service. Providers may include:
- Supabase: account authentication, database hosting, and optional record synchronization.
- Google: Google sign-in when you select it, and distribution of the Android app through Google Play.
- Open-Meteo: weather forecasts and place-name searches.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim: converting coordinates into readable place names when required.
- Hugging Face: downloading optional on-device AI model files.
- Vercel: hosting and delivering the AgriTrack web application and this Privacy Policy.
These providers process information under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or to address fraud, security, or safety concerns.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS for network communication, access controls, account authentication, secure token storage where supported, and database access policies. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Keep your device and account credentials secure.
8. Data retention and deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete it, delete your local account, clear the application's data, or uninstall the application. Synchronized data is retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual records within AgriTrack where that option is available.
To request deletion of an online account and its associated synchronized data, use the Delete Account option in the app when available for your sign-in method, or email ugwebstudio@gmail.com with the subject “AgriTrack account deletion request.” We may ask you to verify account ownership. We will process verified requests within 30 days, except for information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. Data in provider backups may remain until those backups are securely overwritten under the provider's normal cycle.
9. Children's privacy
AgriTrack is a farm-management service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
10. Your choices and rights
You may update information in the app, disable optional permissions, turn off notifications, delete supported records, or request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Rights may vary depending on your location.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when AgriTrack's features or data practices change. We will post the revised policy at this same URL and update the effective date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
